I’m Kelly, a private chef based in Manchester.
Through my love of food and cooking for my clients in the performance world, I have found myself on my own wellness journey (Yes, I said the J word!) which has put me on a path of continuous learning, from cuisines, techniques & ways of eating to physical practices and mental health therapies from around the world and how they can teach us to truly live well, fancy joining me in tasting the good life?
My Story
A few years ago, I realised I had stalled on my path to a fun filled life, so i quit my job and retrained as a chef at the prestigious Leith’s school of Food & Wine. I Graduated in June 2018 and with my roof down and James Martin French Adventures sat on the front passenger seat i drove to the south of France to work for the Summer in a Chateaux cooking for an incredibly fun family and their guests. After that I set up a 3 month pop up restaurant “farm to city kitchen” in a luxury co working space in Manchester, then headed off to the Alps to work as head chef in a chalet, where i fell in loves with the mountains and thought about making this home, but the world had another idea and i soon had to hop skip and jump out of France as the pandemic shut down the slopes, along with the rest of the world… so as did most in the food industry i adapted and pivoted and for the last 4 years I have been a private chef to some of our countries finest ball kickers and catchers, which has taken me from Manchester to Paris, Cannes, Dubai and back home to Manchester again. Looking after their individual nutritional goals and seeing the impact it has on them and their performance has further led me along my own wellness journey.
